For over 25 years, I have worked in the jewellery industry, valuing and assessing jewellery, diamonds,
gemstones, precious metals and luxury watches. Treasured family heirlooms to antique jewellery
and private collections. I regularly value luxury watches including Richard Mille, Patek Philippe,
Audemars Piguet and Jacob & Co. I have also provided independent valuations of luxury and collectable items
from renowned names such as Hermès, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.
It is a privilege to work with private clients throughout the UK, helping them properly understand,
document and protect the jewellery and valuable possessions that matter most to them.
My early career involved insurance-related valuations and post-loss appraisals for insurance companies,
due to loss, theft or damage which has given me a greater understanding of insurance-required valuation reports.
From Hatton Garden, the historic centre of the UK's diamond and jewellery trade. I was fortunate to be instructed
and mentored by Roy Huddlestone of Huddlestone Gemmological Consultants, a highly respected figure in UK
diamond grading and assessment. Taught by such experienced professionals within the jewellery and diamond trade
has given me extensive practical knowledge and an understanding of assessing valuable and unusual pieces.
I founded "My Jewellery Valuation" with a simple principle: Professional jewellery valuations should be convenient,
independent and reassuring. I believe clients should not have to transport valuable or irreplaceable jewellery
to unfamiliar premises or leave it with a business for weeks at a time.
I am a member of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) and have undertaken specialist Jewellery and
diamond training through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA ) and the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ).
My founding objective is simple:
